“Art Your Food” is the international festival proposed every year by IMAFestival. Its Second Edition will be held in 2012 in the cities of Milan, New York and London.
short documentaries under twenty five (25) minutes in length;
pilots of TV/web series or TV/web magazines under twenty five (25) minutes in length.
All submissions in this category must be in FLV, H-264, Mpeg-4 format, resolution 640:360 (16/9), 30 frames per second, MP3 audio. The videos that have not been shot in English language, must have English subtitles.
original and unpublished short stories under twenty thousand (20.000) characters;
original and unpublished poems under twenty thousand (20.000) characters.
Submissions must be uploaded in PDF format.
All submissions in this category must be in Italian or in English, every submission in other languages will not be considered.
All types, band or solo performers, lyrics or instrumental.
Submissions must be in MP3 format, stereo 44.100hz and 128kbit.
Submissions must be in JPEG minimum dimensions 640x480, maximum dimension 1280x1024.
Submissions must be uploaded according to the Film category parameters.
Sumbissions can be uploaded either in JPEG format with the dimensions indicated above or in video format according to the Film category parameters.
Until the end of the competition, everyone can see and vote on their favorite artwork on IMAFestival website.
Ten finalists will be chosen in each one of Music, Literature and Visual Art categories: 9 finalists by the committee and the jury and 1 by the public vote. Meanwhile in the Film category 15 finalists (5 for each subcategory) will be chosen, as above 1 by the public vote and the other 14 by the jury.
All 45 finalists can exhibit their work during a big event held in Milan, at the Museo Nazionale della Scienza e della Tecnologia, May the 5th 2012. At the end of the day, the jury of experts will announce the winner of each category. The winner of the Audience Award (summing online voting with the votes of the people attending this event) will also be announced.
The winners of the four categories will be awarded with the opportunity to showcase their work and meet influential professionals in their field and will travel alongside IMAFestival to the cities of New York and London.
In fact, the winner of the Literature Category and the awarded filmmaker will accompany their works to New York and the winners of the Music and Visual Art categories will fly to London.
